Of all our livestock, choosing to breed Miniature Nubian Dairy Goats was the easiest decision we made. We have simply been unable to identify any other goat breed that combines the size, utility, personality, and charm of the Mini-Nubian. When you add the abundance (especially for their size), quality and MILD flavor of the milk, other breeds simply could not compare.
Our foundation Mini-Nubians were all bred by Hidden Creeks Farm in Oregon City, Oregon. Hidden Creeks Farm had the first registered herd of Mini-Nubians in the United States. Our does are second generation crosses and were selected for qualities you would expect to find in an outstanding dairy animal; good mammary attachment and wide/high escutcheon from the milkiest lines. All stand under 23 inches. Our foundation buck is a flashy, tri-colored beauty. He is a 1.5 generation cross that exhibits wonderful conformation and perfect frosted ears.
Cascade Meadows Farm is very happy to add this versatile cross to our heritage breeds. We are committed to breeding quality Miniature Nubian Dairy Goats with excellent milk production and overall body conformation in a well proportioned (not cobby) mid-range size.
